    I downloaded the files on your hub and seems not working. I also tried it on the new version but I always get a PHP memory limit. Hope to get it this day! 🙂

    thank your for the idea/ work around!

        Memory limit? I figured that one out:

        change this line:

        xhr.setRequestHeader(“Content-Type”, “application/octet-stream”);

        into this:

        xhr.setRequestHeader(“Content-Type”, “multipart/form-data”);

          Thank you sean. I tried a different approach but I’m glad you shared this. Gave me a lot of idea before I fixed the file upload. ^:-)^

        As for the not working… ya, that is to be expected, my changes are ~2 years behind the latest version

    I have downloaded your source. But on uploading files its is showing an error that “Upload Failed”

    You know the reason behind this ?

      Cool, glad it helped. This was written a while ago though, so the code may be a bit out of date

    Nice work! I am trying to implement some uploader for my codeigniter application. But i have problems with CSRF protection – i want to have it turned on, but i need to send some post data – i tried swfuploader and valums too – but didnt worked any of them …

      Sorry – i assumed that problem was with CSRF – but it seems that is wasnt.

      As soon i have enabled querystring with:
      $config[‘uri_protocol’] = “PATH_INFO”;
      $config[‘enable_query_strings’] = TRUE;
      – it work from now ok 🙂

      I will try your method too – so i wont have to enable query strings in whole application…
