This is for times that you don’t have a cable on you (obviously that way is a lot easier).
Create a shared folder on your computer, usually this involves creating a new folder on your computer and then right clicking (or control clicking) and selecting the “Share this folder” option from the click menu.
Connect to the shared folder in the ES File Browser.
On the top left of the screen there is a globe and phone/tablet icon, click it and the menu will slide out.
Then click the Network, then LAN. Click the + at the bottom of the screen and add your computer.
If you don’t know your ip-address. It is pretty easy to find on a mac, or a pc. You will probably need your computer’s username and password if you haven’t enabled anonymous access. If it is successful, you will get a screen like this:
Then you can browse to the folder and long tap on one of the files (or folders) that you want to send across, it will let you pick a bunch of them at once:
Then click the little menu in the bottom right and pick “Copy To”:
Then pick the networked folder:
If you picked a lot of files, sit back and wait for it to finish:
