You need gnome tweak tool (apparently): sudo apt-get update; sudo apt-get install gnome-tweak-toolsudo apt-get update; sudo apt-get install gnome-tweak-tool Then open up “Advanced Settings”. On the left, pick “Shell”, then for “Arrangement of buttons on the sidebar” pick the option you prefer (I like “All”).
